Craig Alexander is an award-winning Australian actor, writer, and filmmaker known for his ability to blend comedy and tragedy alongside his diverse range of creative abilities. Armed with a B.A. (Honours) in Acting from CSU, Craig has been a prominent figure in the theatre industry for nearly two decades. His recent focus has shifted toward captivating screen content, working both in front of and behind the camera.
With an array of short films, web-series, and documentaries under his belt, Craig has proven his talent on both sides of the camera, earning him recognition at various film festivals across the country, including an Innovation in Storytelling Award for his documentary piece Together Alone and multiple Best Actor nods. Snatchers is Craig’s first feature.

HANNAH MCKENZIE
JANE DOE
Hannah grew up in Canberra attending local schools, reading fantasy books and torturing her family with long performance recitals.
In 2022 Hannah graduated the Victorian College of the Arts where she received The Portland House Scholarship for excellence. Following VCA, Hannah starred as Emily in the acclaimed short film 'Love Forever,' directed by Clare Young and mentored by Jane Campion. The film was most notably accepted into Venice Film Festival and has since screened at multiple film festivals in Australia and abroad. In 2023, Hannah won Best Actor at the Canberra International Film Festival and was nominated for Best Oceanian Actress at the Septimius Awards in Amsterdam.
Hannah's dream is to create stories and characters that change how people feel about the world, telling stories that haven't been told before and changing preconceived notions of what women can be.
Shelly is a highly experienced producer and storyteller, excelling as a theatre director, dramaturg, multi-award-winning documentary photographer and author.
With over 20 years experience both producing work and creating it, Shelly’s direction of the cinematic/theatrical hybrid St Nicholas by Conor McPherson (live-streamed during the pandemic) earned her national critical acclaim. In 2021 Shelly produced The Street Art Project, Together Alone, which won the Innovative Storytelling Award at the Canberra Short Film Festival and helped dramaturg and produce Voices of Fatherhood by Creswick Collective, the acclaimed multidisciplinary storytelling work mixing live music, documentary interviews and stunning visuals. She was Creative Director for the multi award winning web series Fragments and director of the integral episode titled, Now You See Me.
Having directed and produced more than 20 theatre productions and multiple arts programs, Shelly now transitions into film directing and producing, bringing her unique storytelling approach to the world of cinema. After co-directing Snatchers with Craig Alexander in 2024, Shelly is now producing and directing documentary feature Ripples.

JUSTIN HOSKING

Justin is an award-winning actor, writer and producer based in Melbourne. He is an ensemble member of Red Stitch Actors’ Theatre, Australia’s leading actors’ ensemble and was co-founder of Human Sacrifice Theatre.
He has performed at the Malthouse, Victorian Arts Centre, 45downstairs, Red Stitch, Chapel Off Chapel and venues in the US. Of his many theatre credits, highlights include Uncle Vanya, True West, Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, The Realistic Joneses and Angel's In America. He has worked with directors such as Nadia Tass, Rowan Woods, Julian Meyrick and David Myles among many others.
Film credits include The Broken Shore, Crime & Punishment, Any Questions for Ben?, The Heckler and Vessel. TV shows including Metro Sexual 2,The Dr Blake Mysteries, The Hollowmen, City Homicide, Satisfaction, and Tangle. Justin produced, co-wrote and starred in the short After Silence, which won multiple awards globally. He is a father of two, who loves to cook, wrestle with the French language and is a rare North Melbourne supporter.

SEBASTIAN CHAN
PRODUCER
A skilled filmmaker, Sebastian has a growing list of accolades including his award-winning short 'Bus Trip' (Focus on Ability Festival 2018), the ACT's first IGTV series 'The Red Thread' (Where You Are Festival) and winner of the ABC i-view 'Best Pitch' award for his project The Family at the 2020 Melbourne Webfest.
In 2021, Sebastian was selected as one of six screenwriters from around the country to take part in the inaugural Emerging Writers Incubator. His paid 12-month career placement involved working in the development team at award-winning company Bunya Productions. The initiative is supported by SBS, Screen Australia, Screen Canberra and the Australian Writers Guild.

DENAI GRACIE
PRODUCER
Denai started out in the industry as a performer and producer and is now transitioning her love of storytelling into writing and directing roles. Denai has worked on dozens of high profile television commercials, short films, series, webseries and features. Writing ignited Denai’s directorial passion, penning the London storyline for her first feature, Forbidden Ground. Denai produced multi-award winning short film Straight on Til Mourning which recently won best mid-sized film at the Sydney Women’s International Film Festival, 2024.
Denai’s long and short form production credits include Infini, Gabriel, Singapore TV Series Shero, and 2022 AACTA nominated Best Film, Sissy. She also wrote and directed The Staircase, an episode of the horror thriller anthology Deadhouse Dark which made official selection at Canneseries 2020, and released globally as a Shudder Original Series in 2021. Dystopic sci fi short Shift which Denai produced, finished its festival run on a high, named one of the top shorts at the Toronto After Dark Festival in 2018 and is currently being adapted into a feature. Denai directed episode titled She in multi-award winning web series Fragments, as well as the episode titled Tuesday in Gold Coast Film Festival nominated Best Web Series, At The Phoenix.
Most recently, Denai worked on proof-of-concept short film EXO226 which she directed, wrote and produced. The short has made official selection at multiple festivals, nominated for Best Film and Best Director and had its world premiere at 2023 Sydney Sci Fi Film Festival. The project was just named a Finalist for Best Film at the Fantastico Film Festival, won Best Production Design at CSFF where Denai was named the recipient of the CSFF 2023 Emerging Talent award. She’s currently developing a diverse slate of features and series’ under her D|G|C creative content banner.
